Its unique fermentation process in hot springs gives it a remarkably balanced and clean flavor in the cup. Master Origin Costa Rica is characterized by its full body but also by its smoothness. Sweet, malty cereal notes emanate from it with crystal clarity. We separate this single-origin coffee into two parts to roast them separately. The first part is roasted at medium temperatures to achieve a medium-dark color and unfold its sweet, malty notes. The second is roasted a little more intensely to achieve a darker color and the desired intensity. A group of coffee farmers from the Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality™ Program manually and selectively harvest this Costa Rican coffee in its central highlands. Imagine the country's most incredible landscapes: jungles, volcanoes, hills and valleys filled with coffee and sugarcane plantations, and, in an ancient Costa Rican community, Orosi, the hot spring. They bring the hot springs to soak the pulped coffee in them for 12 hours.
