Stormio's aromas hit you like a gale: the fact that this Nespresso Intenso can encompass the full intensity of those spice, wood, and cereal aromas while still remaining smooth and full-bodied makes for a delightfully surprising long espresso or Americano. A slow, dark roast enhances the savory intensity of these Central American Arabica coffees. And a coarse grind helps preserve Stormio's bold character: its full body and crema. When Stormio is brewed, it undergoes prolonged pre-wetting and high-temperature water, allowing the spice and wood notes to express themselves. Nicaraguan coffees grown at altitude possess clean acidity and a green apple aroma, but a deep roast unleashes Stormio's signature roasted and bitter notes. Stormio's Guatemalan coffee also grows at high altitudes: the rich, volcanic soils give the coffee its elegant complexity, full-bodied flavor, and thick crema.
