Warm cereal and caramel notes flow in this blend of Arabicas with a touch of Robusta. It has a light body, with a slight bitterness and just the right amount of acidity. Despite its separate roasting and high Robusta content, it achieves a smooth and light sensation. We give the Arabicas a short, dark roast, while the Robustas receive a lighter, longer roast. The well-preserved Robusta notes add complexity to this coffee without adding a hint of harshness. We make Orafio with a long, light-roasted Ugandan Robusta and Arabicas from Brazil and Costa Rica that balance the blend. Orafio is a complex coffee that provides a delicious caramel note and a long finish. Its excellent roasted notes, with just the right touch of acidity, make this sumptuous coffee worth its weight in gold.
